Join us for a heartwarming evening dedicated to honoring and nourishing our beloved senior citizens. Our annual Senior Citizen Dinner is a testament to the power of community and compassion, as we come together to support those who have paved the way for us.
At this special event, we not only provide delicious meals on-site but also go the extra mile by offering meal deliveries to shut-ins who may not have the means to join us in person. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared and boxed with care, ensuring that no one is left hungry or isolated.
Many of the seniors we serve are facing significant challenges and may lack the support of family or friends. Through our efforts, we aim to provide more than just a meal; we offer a sense of belonging and connection to a caring community.
The Seniors Dinner was held at the Rollings Centre, Kingston 13 Jamaica, on the 17th of December 2023 from 4pm to 7:30pm. We catered for 225 Seniors; which included the Shaffer Home for the Aged, Shut-ins, and walked-ins. We had 12 volunteers, 8 from the Rosetown Parents For Change Group and 4 from Portmore.
