Edward Dougal McLachlan Essay Competition

This essay competition was established in honor of the late Edward Dougal McLachlan (1943-2018), husband of the founder. Edward was a huge proponent of education and was himself a scholar and writer. Through the establishment of this essay competition, we hope to continue a part of his legacy by incentivizing youths to do their own writing and research, thereby sharpening their critical thinking skills.
